Our communities’ health and wellness depend heavily on the philanthropy of our donors. Thanks to their support, WellSpan is able to provide exceptional care for all by funding facility upgrades, new equipment, education programs, community outreach initiatives, and financial resources for our patients.
WellSpan has achieved several significant milestones thanks to the generosity of its donors. For instance, the newly renovated WellSpan York Cancer Center was funded with $5.7 million, while over $100,300 was provided to 75 patients and their families through the Adams County Cancer Patient Help Fund. Additionally, $96,000 in scholarships were awarded to 31 local students pursuing their Registered Nursing degrees.
WellSpan employees also play a crucial role in our culture of giving through the annual iGive employee campaign. Over the past three years, our employees have raised more than $3.5 million in personal donations to support the health and well-being of our community.
