On May 7, the Kandiyohi County Board will hold a meeting in Willmar to celebrate Mental Health Month and Foster Care Appreciation Month. The event will also include Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. Presentations on mental health services and foster care in the county will be given by Kandiyohi County’s Health and Human Services, Woodland Centers, and the United Community Action Partnership Parent Support Outreach Program.
