The Siisl platform, also known as the Information System for Social and Work Inclusion, is a valuable resource for individuals in need of job support. This platform, managed by the Ministry of Labor and INPS, utilizes Artificial Intelligence to match job seekers with suitable job offers based on their professional profiles. By calculating an “affinity index” between job offers on Siisl and individual profiles, the system aims to simplify the search process for users.

This affinity index is generated using machine learning algorithms that analyze natural language and evaluate semantic similarities between job offer text and CVs. Vincenzo Caridi, INPS’s general director, highlights the significance of AI in this platform as it provides citizens and employment agencies with an effective tool for job searching. Looking ahead, INPS plans to collaborate with various organizations such as the Ministry of Labor, Sviluppo Lavoro Italia, and Inapp to enhance the matching process further and improve training course quality.

In doing so, updated skills maps at national and European levels will be utilized to compare skills demanded by the job market with those covered by available training programs. The ultimate goal is to ensure that Sfl and Adi beneficiaries have access to relevant job opportunities and receive adequate training to meet labor market demands. With its innovative approach to matching individuals with suitable jobs using AI technology, Siisl has become a valuable resource for both employers and employees alike in their quest for successful employment outcomes.
