On Tuesday morning, three people tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash on Mount Petit Combin in Valais, Switzerland. The accident occurred during a heli-skiing operation, with three others managing to survive the crash.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, but it is known that the helicopter, a type B3, crashed while landing on the Petit Combin mountain. The helicopter was carrying the pilot, a mountain guide, and four clients at the time of the crash. Two of the injured individuals were treated on site before being transported to a hospital in Sion, while a third person was rescued from the wreckage. Unfortunately, three occupants of the helicopter did not survive the crash.

This incident marks the third helicopter accident in Valais since mid-February, highlighting the dangers of flying in mountainous terrain. The community is mourning the loss of those who tragically lost their lives in this devastating accident.
