In 2023, a significant increase in anti-Semitic incidents was reported, with a joint report from the Ministry of Diaspora and the Fight against Anti-Semitism, the Zionist Organization, and the Jewish Agency showing a 235% increase compared to the previous year. Most of these incidents occurred in the United States and Europe. The rise in anti-Semitism has been linked to the ongoing conflict known as the ‘Iron Swords’ war.
With tensions on the rise globally, there is a growing need for religious leaders to work together to address the root causes of hatred and discrimination. The World Forum for Intercultural Dialogue played an important role in facilitating these conversations and promoting a more peaceful and inclusive world during its recent event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
