Briarcrest’s boys soccer team had a standout performance on Sunday, beating St. Benedict 4-2 in a thrilling game. Grayson Baldridge and Peyton Marbury each contributed a goal and an assist, helping lead their team to victory. Meanwhile, in baseball, CBHS defeated Arlington 8-7 on Monday with Nathan Ferris going 4-for-4 and scoring two runs, Carson Finch having three RBIs including the game-winning sacrifice fly, Will Brick hitting two hits and scoring two runs, and Riley Goodman being 2-for-3 with three runs scored. In another game, Lausanne beat St. Benedict 11-0 with Rishi Bhavaraju as the winning pitcher striking out six in five innings and Christian Doty having two hits. Northpoint also had a win against Houston with KL Farr pitching a shutout and striking out eight, while Bolton defeated Trezevant 16-6 with Marcus Taylor as the winning pitcher striking out nine and Myles Runnels contributing with two RBIs and two runs scored.

In softball, Arlington won against Covington 12-1 on Monday with Kendall Wilkie as the winning pitcher hitting a home run and Addie Graham going 2-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Northpoint also had a win against Lake Cormorant on Monday with Trinity Garvin as the winning pitcher striking out eight in five innings, Katy Bobo hitting a home run, and Josey Jones hitting a home run as well. Houston defeated Fayette Academy on Monday with Maci Frederick having two hits
