Floridaman, a Gulf Coast-themed sports and dive bar, is set to open next month on the second floor of Breaker Breaker along the Eastside Beltline. The team behind the new bar consists of Alex Brounstein, Johnny Farrow (Grindhouse Killer Burgers), and Maximillian Hines.

The drink menu is still being developed, but Floridaman promises two potent frozen cocktails on tap, along with a beer and wine list and a selection of canned cocktails. The food menu will focus on handheld items and dips, with a signature Floridaman sandwich that features roasted chicken, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise.

Farrow describes the Gulf Coast as a place where a lot of interesting and quirky things happen, which inspired the theme of Floridaman. The atmosphere of the bar will have a tropical feel, with patterned lounge furniture, artwork, lighting installations, and tropical plants. Seating will overlook the Beltline, giving customers a unique view.

The team behind Floridaman aims to create a laid-back atmosphere where parents and grown-ups can relax and enjoy quality drinks and food. Visit Floridaman at 921 Wylie Street Southeast in Atlanta for a taste of the Gulf Coast right on the Eastside Beltline.
