On Sunday morning, several businesses in Summerville, South Carolina were damaged by smoke and water after a fire broke out. The incident occurred on the 1200 block of Old Trolley Road, and authorities closed the road at Beverly Drive around 4:30 a.m. while Summerville Fire & Rescue responded to the call.

Upon arrival, crews encountered smoke and heat upon entry, indicating a fire was present. Although there were no signs of fire from the outside, they were able to locate and control the fire in less than five minutes. However, neighboring businesses were affected by smoke and water damage.
