The United Football League (UFL) is facing challenges in filling stadiums in seven of the cities where it operates. However, there is one city where the stands are consistently packed. The St. Louis Battlehawks have managed to attract over 30,000 fans for the third consecutive home game, with 32,969 fans attending their recent 22-8 victory over the Houston Roughnecks.

The city’s football fever has been evident in the past as well, with a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis also drawing a significant crowd of 38,559 spectators on the same day. This has led to discussions about whether St. Louis should have an NFL team again. The city previously had the Cardinals, who relocated to Arizona in 1988, and later welcomed the Rams in 1995. However, the Rams returned to Los Angeles in 2016, resulting in a substantial settlement for St. Louis due to misleading statements made by the team and the NFL.

While it may take some time for the NFL to consider returning to St. Louis, some believe that the city should still be considered as a potential NFL city in the future due to its willingness to support football despite setbacks with previous teams like Rams and Cardinals
