Rise Athletics, a competitive cheer team from Great Falls, is set to make their fourth consecutive appearance at the All Star World competition. This year marks a significant milestone for the program as they will be sending all three of their elite teams to compete.

Lani McCarthy, owner of Rise Athletics, expressed her excitement for this achievement, acknowledging the honor of having all three teams qualify for such a prestigious event. In the early days of the program, Rise Athletics started with just two teams while renting space at a gymnastics gym. Fast forward to their fifth season, and the program has grown to six teams with a record of regional championships, national titles, and appearances at world competitions.

This year, the youth and junior teams received at-large bids while the senior team secured a paid bid, covering their expenses for the competition. The Rise Athletics teams have performed exceptionally well this year, winning major competitions and building confidence as they prepare for the world competition. As the only competitive cheer team in Great Falls and the sole Montana team to receive a bid, Rise Athletics is proud to represent their town and state on a global stage.

Coach Emma McCarthy emphasized the significance of competing at the world level, highlighting the athletic aspect of cheerleading and the opportunity to showcase their skills as athletes. The All Star World competition will take place from April 18-21 in Orlando, Florida, where the Rise Athletics teams will put their talent and hard work to the test.

Rise Athletics has come a long way since its inception in 2016 when it was founded by Lani McCarthy’s sister Emma McCarthy along with two other friends who shared her passion for cheerleading. Over time, they expanded their operations by adding more coaches and facilities and eventually recruiting more athletes.

Their success can be attributed to their unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of competitive cheerleading. From training sessions to performance routines to fundraising efforts, everything they do is geared towards helping young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

As they prepare for this year’s All Star World competition, Rise Athletics knows that it won’t be easy. But they also know that with hard work, dedication
