Australia’s T20I captain Mitchell Marsh is looking forward to leading his team in their first major tournament as the official skipper, with the upcoming T20 World Cup marking a huge milestone for him. As the interim captain for the past year, Marsh has been instrumental in guiding the team to some strong recent success.

The squad for the tournament includes players like Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, David Warner, and Glenn Maxwell, among others. Teams have until May 25 to make changes to their squad, after which any alterations will need approval from the ICC’s Event Technical Committee. Marsh and his team are gearing up for the challenge and aiming to make their mark in the T20 World Cup.

Australia will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign against Oman in Barbados on June 5, followed by fixtures against England, Namibia, and Scotland in Group B. The team is optimistic that they will continue to perform well in what is expected to be a competitive tournament.
