The Cosplay Grand Tour 2024 by Riot Games is an initiative that aims to bring together the Italian cosplay community and fans of Riot Games. The tour will stop at major Italian pop culture festivals, where participants can showcase their creativity in costumes inspired by Riot Games characters. With themes for each event, there is still room for originality as participants can choose their own costumes.
CLIC – Community of League of Legends Italian Cosplayers – will coordinate each stage of the tour, with Icon Stitch leading the project as a professional cosplayer and creative mind. Judging panels consisting of prominent figures from Riot Games and professional cosplayers will evaluate the performances, armor/props, tailoring, community award, and best overall costume categories. Winners from each stage will compete in the final at Lucca Comics & Games, showcasing an original costume inspired by Arcane.
The tour kicks off on April 28, 2024 at Napoli Comicon with a theme of Clove, the newest Scottish agent in Valorant. Further stops include Falcomics, Etna Comics, and Riminicomix before culminating in the grand finale at Lucca Comics & Games. Participation is open to all and free of charge; winners will receive professional photos and exclusive prizes from Riot Games.
