First Watch has revolutionized the dining experience in their more than 420 corporate-owned restaurant locations with the introduction of pay-at-the-table technology. This innovative feature, developed in partnership with Up ‘n go, enables customers to pay their bill directly at the table, reducing congestion at the front of the restaurant, especially during busy times.

Rob Conti, Senior Vice President of Information Technology at First Watch, highlighted the user-friendly and reliable nature of Up ‘n go’s payment flow, which integrates directly with First Watch’s NCR Aloha POS system. Customers can easily pay their bill by scanning a QR code on their check without the need to download an app or create an account.

Dan Jones, Chief Operations Officer at First Watch, emphasized the company’s commitment to improving the dining experience for both customers and employees. With over 125,000 customers opting to use the new pay-at-the-table feature in a recent week, more than 1,000 combined hours were saved, benefiting both customers and employees alike.

Up ‘n go CEO Touradj Barman expressed his gratitude for enhancing the payment experience for customers. He believes that saving time and allowing for fair check splitting can greatly impact a customer’s overall satisfaction.
