A unique conference, the first of its kind in Israel, was initiated by Rabbi Yossi Arablich, the chairman and founder of an organization called “For Your Sake.” The event brought together senior managers of AI companies from Israel and around the world, leading international scientists, and heads of the health system. The goal was to create collaborations and harness the technological revolution of artificial intelligence for the purpose of saving lives, extending life expectancy, and improving quality of life.

The conference attracted several leading companies in the development of artificial intelligence globally such as Google, Microsoft, Mobileye, and Check Point. State President Yitzhak (Boji) Herzog sent his blessing to the participants, highlighting the connection between the Israeli health system and innovation. President Herzog recognized the importance of the conference in understanding the implications of artificial intelligence and praised Rabbi Yossi Arablich for his dedication to helping patients receive professional assistance and support.

Prof. Ran Blitzer from the Klalit Health Fund discussed latest developments in artificial intelligence and its applications in medicine. He emphasized on role of AI in early detection of diseases, improving outcomes, reducing hospitalization days. Prof. Blitzer also spoke about potential of AI to revolutionize doctor-patient relationship and return medicine back to its core principles.

Alon Chaimovich CEO Microsoft Israel and Prof Yossi Matias Vice President Google Worldwide also highlighted importance AI technology in healthcare sector its potential for breakthrough applications. The conference discussed how technology can be used to predict diagnose treat diseases more effectively ultimately improving patient outcomes.

The conference also addressed challenges facing Israeli healthcare system including shortage specialized manpower. Prof Zion Hagai Chairman Israel Medical Association emphasized importance investing human resources healthcare criticized Ministry Health for outsourcing problem physician shortages.
