The Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles are facing off in a highly anticipated three-game series. Last season, the Red Sox had a solid 78-84 record overall and a 39-42 record at home. They averaged 8.9 hits per game and had a team batting average of .258 and a slugging percentage of .424.

In contrast, the Orioles had a slightly worse record, finishing with a 6-4 mark overall and a 2-2 record on the road. However, Baltimore has been particularly successful when hitting two or more home runs, boasting an impressive 4-0 record in those games.

This upcoming game will be the second meeting between these two teams this season. Both teams have dealt with injuries, with the Red Sox sidelining Nick Pivetta, Trevor Story, Bryan Mata, Vaughn Grissom, Liam Hendriks, Rob Refsnyder, Chris Murphy, and Lucas Giolito. Meanwhile, the Orioles have Cionel Perez, Kyle Bradish, John Means, and Felix Bautista out due to injuries.

Top performers for the Red Sox include Tyler O’Neill who leads the team with six home runs and a slugging percentage of .906. Jarren Duran has been hot at the plate lately, going 14-for-42 with a home run and five RBI over his last 10 games. For the Orioles Adley Rutschman has two doubles while Cedric Mullins is currently on fire as he’s gone 6-for-32 with a double and two home runs in his last ten games.

In their last ten games both teams have shown improvement in terms of wins but they still have some work to do before they can claim victory in this series as they both went undefeated in their last ten games but did not face each other
