Pilsen’s 18th Street has been named one of the coolest streets in the world by Time Out. Out of the 30 streets selected globally, only four were located in the United States, with 18th Street ranking at number 21 on the list. The street was recognized for its diverse lineup of restaurants, bars, businesses, and art galleries, serving as a main hub for the city’s Mexican American community.

The ranking was determined by Time Out editors and contributors who each nominated the coolest street in their respective cities. From those submissions, the top 30 streets were selected. The other U.S. streets that made the list include East Eleventh in Austin, Fifth Avenue in Park Slope New York City, and East 3rd Street in Los Angeles.
