The District Committee for Center Planning and Construction has recently made a decision to establish a business hotel in the StartSiv business area, as part of its efforts to renew the city’s business areas and move away from old industries. The hotel construction plan will be located south of Jabotinsky Street, with the land being rezoned from industrial to commercial use. Covering approximately 0.1 hectare, the project will feature a business hotel with 90 rooms on a commercial floor.

Petah Tikva Mayor Rami Greenberg expressed support for the decision, stating that in recent years, the city has been promoting policies that encourage hi-tech and business development, as well as enhance recreational opportunities. He welcomed the committee’s approval of the hotel project in the StartSiv business center and the change in zoning from industry to hospitality. Greenberg emphasized the city’s commitment to supporting policies that contribute to its development into a significant metropolis.

The municipality’s focus on shifting towards modern business sectors and creating new amenities reflects its vision for Petah Tikva’s future growth and prosperity. The establishment of a business hotel in the StartSiv business area is just one example of the city’s proactive approach to urban planning and construction.
