The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has announced an extension of the deadline for the call for Good Practices in Health and Migration in the Region of the Americas until May 31, 2024. This decision was made due to the high interest shown by participants in strengthening actions aimed at protecting the right to health of migrants and ensuring equitable access to quality health services.

The purpose of this call is to promote the exchange of knowledge on various interventions that address the needs of migrants. By sharing good practices, PAHO hopes to improve the health outcomes of migrants and contribute to the overall health system in the Americas. Proposals for this call must be submitted through PAHO’s Good Practices in Public Health Portal. For more information and details on how to submit a proposal, please visit the PAHO website.

The organization looks forward to receiving innovative and impactful proposals that will enhance the health and well-being of migrants in the region. With this extension, PAHO is giving more time for participants to develop and submit their proposals, allowing for a greater diversity of perspectives and ideas to be considered.
