During the week of March 28 to April 4, several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County were ordered to close due to health violations. On April 3, Brunch ‘n Vibes in Huntington Beach was closed due to a sewage overflow while Comedor in Laguna Beach was shut down for a cockroach infestation. However, Comedor was able to reopen on April 4. Andalusia Kitchen in San Clemente was also closed on April 2 for a rodent infestation but quickly reopened on the same day.

On March 29, The Kitchen at Costa Mesa Senior Center in Costa Mesa was closed due to a rodent infestation but was able to reopen the same day. Mama An Eatery in Anaheim was shut down on March 29 for a cockroach infestation and reopened on March 31. Paul’s Place in Buena Park and Los Cristales in Santa Ana were also temporarily closed during this period for various violations.
