Opelika High School’s defensive lineman Malik Autry has been invited to play in the 2025 All-American Bowl, a prestigious event that showcases the top high school football players in the nation. The four-star prospect from Opelika, Alabama will participate in the annual East vs. West matchup on January 11, 2025, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The game will be broadcast live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET and will feature some of the best high school football talent in the country. Autry was selected by the All-American Bowl Selection Committee, which includes representatives from the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NexGen founder Brent Williams.

Players chosen to play in the All-American Bowl are eligible for various awards, including Player of the Year Award, Lineman of the Year Award, Defensive Player of the Year Award, Man of the Year Award, and MVP Award. It is an honor for Autry to be among only 100 football players selected each year to participate in this elite event.

The game will be presented live on NBC and Peacock from San Antonio’s Alamodome. The All-American Bowl is a marquee event owned by NBC Sports and joins other elite events such as Sunday Night Football and the Olympics. It is known as one of the most watched and prestigious high school all-star games with millions of television viewers and thousands of fans in attendance every year. The history and tradition of this event are unparalleled with numerous NFL draft picks, Super Bowl champions Pro Bowl selections and Heisman finalists having participated in it over time.
