The Truckee Chamber of Commerce is hosting May’s Good Morning Truckee event, which aims to educate the community about forest health and land access. This forum provides timely and relevant information on a variety of topics, and is open to the public. Speakers at the event include John Svahn from Truckee Donner Land Trust, Jonathon Fisher from the National Forest Service, and Stacey Caldwell from the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Forest Futures program.

Good Morning Truckee takes place on the third Tuesday of every month at Truckee Town Hall from 7:45-9:15 a.m. Attendees can register at 7:45 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 8 a.m. Ticket prices are $10 for Truckee Chamber members and $15 for the public, which includes a continental breakfast and coffee donated by Mountain Brew. In 2024, attendees are encouraged to bring a business card for a chance to win a door prize.
