In response to the growing need for mental health care in underserved communities in Chattanooga, the Office of Community Health (OCE) has recently introduced new clinics. These services are made available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Minority Health and will be offered at community centers located in neighborhoods identified by Mayor Tim Kelly as having a higher need for mental health care.
To ensure that individuals in these communities receive the care they need, OCE has partnered with several organizations, including AIM Center, First Baptist Cares, Align Wellness, Lifespring, and Mission Medicos. Each of these organizations brings unique resources and expertise to the table.
