The New Oregon Health Authority Director, Dr. Sejal Hathi, is set to share her insights on the healthcare needs of Central Oregon at NewsChannel 21 at Five. She will embark on her fifth regional tour in the area starting on Monday, where she will visit various health care organizations and facilities in the region, including the Mosaic Community Health Federally Qualified Health Center.

During her visit, Dr. Hathi will focus on understanding the healthcare goals of the Central Oregon community and what they require from the state in terms of health care services. Matthew Draxton will report on Dr. Hathi’s objectives for the tour and her observations from traveling across the state. His report will be featured on NewsChannel 21 at Five.

Prior to her visit to Central Oregon, Dr. Hathi toured the Portland area, engaging with important organizations like the Miracles Club, Virginia Garcia Wellness Center, and Central City Concern. This outreach is part of a broader statewide tour aimed at understanding and prioritizing the health needs of all Oregon communities in the Oregon Health Authority’s strategic planning.

Dr. Hathi’s agenda during her visit to the Mosaic Federally Qualified Health Center includes a facility tour and a roundtable listening session with local healthcare providers and patient support staff. The following day, she plans to visit a public health facility in Redmond to meet with representatives from various public health agencies in the region.
