Akira Toriyama, the legendary manga and video game artist, passed away at the age of 68 almost two months ago. Despite his untimely death, Toriyama’s impact is still felt deeply by fans of both manga and video games. One of the unfortunate outcomes of his passing was that he did not get to see the release of the video game adaptation of his manga “Sand Land,” which launched on April 25th.

However, Toriyama had shared his thoughts on the game before his passing. The “Sand Land” game was perceived by the official account as a fulfilling experience that expands on the original manga with new and exciting elements.
