Apple recently unveiled the new iPad Air models, available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. These new models come in four colors: blue, purple, galaxy, and space gray. The 11-inch model is designed for portability, while the 13-inch model offers 30% more screen space, ideal for tasks that require a larger viewing area. Both models feature a Liquid Retina display, True Tone technology, high brightness, and a wide P3 color gamut.

The M2 chip powers these new models and is 50% faster than the previous M1 chip and three times more powerful than the A14 Bionic chip. This chip enhances the iPad’s AI capabilities with a 16-core Neural Engine that is 40% faster than the M1. Both front and rear cameras are enhanced with this chip as well. The front camera now features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens for video calls and the rear camera now supports 4K video recording with its 12MP sensor.

The new iPad Air also supports Wi-Fi 6E and 5G for fast connections at home and on the go. It is also eSIM compatible, allowing users to easily use multiple data plans on the same device. The Apple Pencil Pro introduces new interactions and features for a seamless user experience with support for handwriting recognition. The starting price for the 11-inch iPad Air is €719 while the larger model starts at €969 euros. Accessories like the Magic Trackpad enhance its functionality even further.
