Roman Wilson, a former Michigan wide receiver, predicted earlier this month that multiple Wolverines would be drafted in the NFL Draft. So far, one Michigan player has been selected. The Chargers picked linebacker Junior Colson in the third round with the 69th overall pick. Colson had an impressive track record at Michigan, playing in 43 games over the last three seasons and contributing to a defense that led the team to three consecutive playoff appearances. With 95 tackles and two tackles for loss, Colson was a pivotal player in Michigan’s national title win last season.

With four Michigan players already drafted and more expected to hear their names called before the draft concludes on Saturday, it seems that Wilson’s prediction of multiple Wolverines being drafted is well on its way to becoming a reality. In total, eighteen members of the Michigan team participated in the Scouting Combine, indicating that there could be further selections in the upcoming rounds. As we wait for the final picks to be made, it’s clear that Michigan’s talent continues to shine through in the NFL Draft.
