Monte Harrison, a 28-year-old athlete who has spent nine seasons in professional baseball, including three in MLB, is embarking on a new chapter by pursuing college football. He will walk-on to the Arkansas Razorbacks football team, making him one of the oldest college football players.

As a former four-star recruit, Harrison was committed to playing football at Nebraska before being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the MLB Draft. He opted to pursue a baseball career instead of using his college eligibility. Despite his baseball successes, he always had a passion for football and is excited to join the Razorbacks as a receiver.

Harrison’s decision to join the Arkansas Razorbacks has garnered attention from other schools like Nebraska and Tennessee who expressed interest in recruiting him. With his talent and determination, Harrison is ready to showcase his skills and make an impact on the football field when he makes his debut with the Razorbacks on August 29 against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
