Georgia softball dominated in a 10-1 victory over Kennesaw State, with Madison Kearney starting the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning. The Bulldogs nearly doubled their previous game’s totals with 11 hits and 10 runs in this game. Sydney Chambley and Sara Mosley also hit home runs. Despite a fielder error that allowed Kennesaw State to score in the first inning, the Bulldogs pitching staff performed well. Starter Shelby Walters earned the win after pitching for two innings, allowing three hits and striking out two batters. The Bulldogs used four pitchers in total, who only allowed four hits and three walks while striking out five batters.

The Bulldogs showcased a deep roster, with 15 different players seeing playing time, compared to only 8 players for Kennesaw State. After a successful away stretch, Georgia will return home to face No. 20 Arkansas in their upcoming SEC series on Saturday, March 30th at noon.
