In February, ECU Health hosted a New Graduate Nurse Hiring event at TowneBank Tower on East Carolina University’s campus as part of its commitment to building a high-quality nursing workforce for the region. The two-day event included 276 interviews with prospective nurses, many of whom are from eastern North Carolina.

Trish Baise, Chief Nursing Executive at ECU Health, expressed her satisfaction with the event, noting the importance of engaging with future nurses in a casual setting before formal interviews.
