After a 42-race winless streak, Chase Elliott emerged victorious at the Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway. His team overcame adversity and he was grateful for their support. Brad Keselowski finished in second place, looking to end his own 106-race winless drought. William Byron took third place, with Tyler Reddick and Daniel Suarez following closely behind. The race was marked by a neck-and-neck battle between Elliott and Denny Hamlin, which went into overtime when Hamlin crashed while battling Elliott for the lead. Kyle Larson won Stage 1 of the race, with Ross Chastain taking Stage 2 honors. The series heads to Talladega Superspeedway on April 21 for the next race, which will be broadcast on Fox at 3 p.m. ET.
