Footage of Captain America: Brave New World was unveiled at Disney’s CinemaCon 2024, showcasing Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross urging Anthony Mackie’s Captain America to reform the Avengers. The clip began with President Ross speaking at the White House in Washington, D.C., portrayed by Ford with a new clean-shaven look due to losing his mustache during the election campaign.

President Ross discussed the importance of Captain America rebuilding the Avengers and referenced the recovery of a stolen item called the Millennium from a Japanese mining site. However, chaos ensued when a high-pitched sound triggered Isaiah Bradley and another agent to open fire, leading to a confrontation where even President Ross threw a punch. According to Captain America (Sam Wilson), the inner circle was compromised.

The film, set for release on February 14, 2025, will explore what makes someone Captain America and delve into Wilson’s journey as the new Cap. Liv Tyler will reprise her role as Betty Ross from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, and Tim Blake Nelson will play the new Hulk villain, Samuel Sterns/The Leader. Additionally, CinemaCon 2024 featured footage from Gladiator 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, along with updates from the Warner Bros. presentation.
