To promote mental health awareness, Downtown Summerlin has set up special displays that highlight the importance of mental well-being. One of the displays features Tony Tasset’s ‘Mood Sculpture,’ which encourages individuals to embrace a range of emotions as part of their mental well-being.
Halee Harczynski, senior director of marketing for Downtown Summerlin, expressed the importance of addressing mental health for people of all ages. She highlighted the significance of unveiling the latest sculpture, which features a variety of moods, to start conversations about mental health.
Visitors can explore the rainbow of moods represented by the sculpture inside the butterfly garden under The Pavilion at the property. Organizers suggest various ways to prioritize mental health, such as staying active, seeking therapy, or enjoying activities like shopping at the weekly farmer’s market.
Downtown Summerlin aims to raise awareness about mental health and promote self-care practices during Mental Health Awareness Month. By providing a space for reflection and discussion, they hope to encourage individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
