The much-anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, set to take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, has been officially sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. This was announced by Most Valuable Promotions, who confirmed that the heavyweight bout will be contested over eight rounds of two minutes each.

In addition to the main event, there will also be a co-feature between unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano and super lightweight champion Katie Taylor. This rematch marks the first women’s main event at Madison Square Garden. Both fights will be streaming live on Netflix.

Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, expressed her gratitude for meeting the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to sanction the Tyson-Paul fight. Tyson, now 57, was the youngest heavyweight titleholder in history and held the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles simultaneously. His opponent, Paul, gained fame on YouTube before transitioning to professional boxing in 2020. He also made it to Forbes’s list of highest-paid athletes for his boxing matches with estimated earnings of $38 million. Paul has a large following on social media platforms like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
