Minnesota Vikings have waived wide receiver Daylen Baldwin, ending his tenure with the team. The move was made to create space on the 90-man roster for new undrafted rookies who will be signing with the team for the upcoming rookie minicamp. Baldwin was initially signed to the Vikings’ practice squad in November and later secured a future deal with the team after the regular season ended.
Baldwin entered the NFL in 2022 with the Cleveland Browns after going undrafted. During his time with the Browns, he spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad before being elevated for one game where he caught two passes for 25 yards. Now that he has been waived by the Vikings, Baldwin will be looking for a new opportunity in the NFL to continue his professional career. The competitive environment in the league means that Baldwin will need to prove himself once again to earn a spot on another team.
