Bo Nix, who played college football in the Pacific Northwest, recently met with both the Seahawks and the Raiders. While the Seahawks acquired Sam Howell earlier in the offseason to serve as a backup to Geno Smith, who is under contract until 2025, this move has not made them a popular first-round quarterback destination. However, they are still exploring options for the future at the position.

If Nix were to be selected by the Seahawks, he would be playing under offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who was previously on the opposing team during three matchups between Nix and the Oregon Ducks. Grubb, who was the offensive coordinator at Washington during those games, led his team to victory each time.

Nix’s visit with the Raiders last week was also part of his search for a new team. The Seahawks and Raiders are both looking for a quarterback to replace their current starter, so Nix could be a potential fit for either team. However, ultimately it will depend on which team offers him the best opportunity and compensation for his skills and experience.
