AtlantiCare has teamed up with Oracle Health to improve their command center infrastructure with a new generative artificial intelligence-based clinical digital assistant. This genAI CDA will allow clinicians to use voice commands, freeing up more time for patient interactions and reducing the amount of time spent on computers. In addition, Oracle’s command center will provide near-real-time enterprise transparency, enhancing efficiency and care delivery within the network.
This collaboration is part of a six-year plan to advance systemwide strategies, including affiliations with Drexel University College of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute, and Global Neurosciences Institute. AtlantiCare’s president and CEO, Michael Charlton, shared that their VISION 2030 initiative aims to revolutionize healthcare paradigms through technological investments, accelerating transformation, and eliminating disparities in care. As they reimagine their business model, Charlton emphasized the importance of delivering care to the community in a seamless, human-centered manner.
