Amogy, a US provider of ammonia-to-power solutions, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with W-Industries to explore technology and engineering collaboration opportunities. The partnership aims to investigate ways to efficiently scale the design and production of modular and containerized versions of Amogy’s products and set up a joint commissioning and service-support structure for future projects and product deployments.

W-Industries sees this collaboration as an essential step towards supporting sustainable energy solutions, contributing their process knowledge and packaging expertise to the commercial development of Amogy’s solutions. Seonghoon Woo, CEO of Amogy, expressed enthusiasm about formalizing the partnership with W-Industries, hoping to explore new possibilities and improve Amogy’s commercial offerings together.

Amogy has developed a unique system that converts liquid ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen, which is then used to generate power in fuel cells. This technology is particularly suited for industries like maritime shipping and power generation. The partnership between Amogy and Green Ships Invest has recently been strengthened with the signing of a groundbreaking commercial contract. This collaboration will further enhance the development and deployment of environmentally-friendly transportation solutions.

The MoU signed by Amogy and W-Industries paves the way for a fruitful collaboration that aims to provide enhanced value to customers while making a positive impact in the industry. Together, they will explore new possibilities in the development of sustainable energy solutions while leveraging their combined expertise and resources.
