At the 2019 Gamescom gaming trade fair in Cologne, Germany, visitors had the opportunity to try out the latest version of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The excitement around the game was palpable as fans got to experience the popular anime series come to life in a new way. The energy and enthusiasm of the crowd were infectious, and it was clear that Dragon Ball Z continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, plans are underway for the construction of a massive entertainment venue that will be dedicated entirely to Dragon Ball Z. This theme park is set to become a major tourist attraction in the region, with more than 30 themed rides, hotels, and restaurants designed around the original anime series.

The Dragon Ball Z theme park will include five “world first” rides, including a 230-foot-high roller coaster named Shenron. The park is a testament to the growing interest in video games and anime in the kingdom, with significant investments being made to bring these popular forms of entertainment to Saudi audiences.

Qiddiya itself is a planned “city” located in Riyadh that will span over 360 square kilometers and offer over 400 attractions including golf courses, theme parks, and hotels. The project is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify the economy and attract more tourists to the kingdom. With ambitious targets for tourism growth, Saudi Arabia is making strides to become a global destination for visitors from around the world.
