The Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley is launching its second workshop in a series that outlines its programs. The “Business Leadership for Climate” workshop, which will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room (135 Sixth St.) in downtown Steamboat Springs, is open to business and organizational representatives.

During the workshop, attendees will learn how to navigate the recognition application process and discover strategies for accumulating points towards certification. By becoming certified, businesses can distinguish themselves as leaders in sustainability and align with the growing consumer demand for eco-conscious products and services. Lunch will be provided by Hypnotic Chicken, with energy bars from Bar-U-Eat.

The event is open to the public, but registration is required at YVSC.org/yvsc-events. The Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley launched in summer 2022 as a free, technical assistance, and environmental recognition program.
