On April 24, criminal proceedings were initiated against unidentified individuals who disrupted traffic on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway by setting tires ablaze. According to reports from the Investigative Committee, this incident occurred at 4:25 p.m. in the Masisi section of the interstate highway. The suspects moved three cars – Ford Tranzit, BMW X5, and Mercedes Benz – to the lanes of the highway and piled up numerous tires on both sides towards Yeraskh and Yerevan.
