A presentation on the challenges and triumphs of women in business will be held at Saint Vincent College on Tuesday. The event, which is part of International Women’s History Month, will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Student Center lounge. It is open to everyone and does not require advance registration.

The panel discussion will feature four successful women, including Abby Geisel, a Saint Vincent alumna and manager of video and email experience at FedEx. Taleesha Johnson, another alumna, is the co-owner of Picturesque PGH, a photo booth company. Victoria Piekut Bobak, the CEO and co-founder of Wight Elephant Boutique, and Laurie Havrisko, the assistant to the superintendent for student services at Greater Latrobe School District, will also be present.

Abby Geisel has over a decade of experience in marketing and communications and has participated in the 2021 International Women’s Forum Global Conference. Taleesha Johnson is actively involved in supporting the Pittsburgh Promise scholarship program and is a member of the Saint Vincent College Alumni Council. Victoria Piekut Bobak started her clothing store in her college apartment and has achieved $2 million in sales by 2023. Laurie Havrisko has worked in public education for 17 years and is currently pursuing a doctorate in community engagement.
