Marika Auramo has recently left SAP after 25 years of service, where she held the position of chief business officer for EMEA. She is now set to join Vodafone as a member of their Executive Committee, starting on the same date as her new role.

Vodafone’s group CEO, Margherita Della Valle, expressed her excitement about Auramo joining the team to lead the business division, which is considered a key growth driver for the company. Della Valle highlighted Auramo’s extensive B2B experience in the IT industry and looks forward to her contribution as a member of the Executive Committee.

Auramo expressed her enthusiasm for working with Della Valle and the management team, stating that Vodafone Business has significant growth opportunities ahead. She noted that large corporates, SMEs, and the public sector are increasingly looking to integrate digital tools to boost growth and productivity.

Vodafone Business has reported a 5% growth in service revenue at their third quarter trading update. Auramo joins the company at a time when it is well-positioned to take advantage of the growing adoption of new digital services such as cloud, security, and IoT.
