Bay City John Glenn faced off against Swan Valley in a Tri-Valley Conference baseball matchup, with the Vikings emerging victorious with a score of 11-1. Unfortunately, rain interrupted the second game in the third inning with John Glenn leading 2-0. Both teams are hoping to resume the doubleheader on Wednesday.

In the first game on Tuesday, Joey Miller pitched a complete game, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out six. Lucas Ordway led the offense with three hits, two RBIs, and two runs. Jaxon Hartley, Colton Klein, and Aaron Smith also contributed with two RBIs each for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Chesaning dominated Durand in softball news, winning both games by large margins. In the first game on Tuesday, Izzy Popilek threw a no-hitter in three innings, striking out nine batters and having three hits and three RBIs. Ava Devereaux led the offense with three hits including a double and homerun, five RBIs, three stolen bases and three runs. Brezlyn Struck threw a one-hitter in the second game striking out five batters while Marenda Jones had two hits including scoring four runs and stealing four bases; Abbey VanHaaren had two hits scoring four runs stealing two bases; Kalyn Trevino had two hits driving four runs stealing two bases; Nicole Neumann added three walks for three runs stolen bases to contribute to their wins.
