Online voting for the Varsity 845 Spring Olympic sports player of the week for March 18-24 is now open. Visit RecordOnline.com/sports to cast your vote as many times as you’d like until 10 p.m. on Saturday. Please refrain from using computer bots to keep things fair. Players from Orange, Ulster, and Sullivan counties, as well as Delaware Valley (Pa.), are eligible for nominations.

Due to the limited number of contests last week, multiple candidates are being considered for Varsity 845 Spring Olympic sports player of the week. The winner will be announced via Twitter @Varsity845. Previous winners can be nominated again once the postseason begins.

There are several outstanding candidates for this prestigious award, including Lillian Atria from Pine Bush, who scored six goals in a match against New Paltz; Ava Kraszewski from Delaware Valley, who scored four goals in a match against Nazareth Area; Jaida Palacios from DVPA, who made nine stops in the same match; Lorena Rivera from Valley Central, who scored five goals in a match against Highland; and Madison Roszkowski from Valley Central, who made eight saves in a match against Highland.
