The School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia has reached a significant milestone by ranking among the top 10 institutions in the country for the first time in over two decades. The school climbed eight spots to tie for No. 8, alongside prestigious universities such as Harvard, New York, and Stanford. Among public institutions, UVA’s School of Education and Human Development remains the top graduate school of education in Virginia.

UVA’s Darden School of Business has also made significant progress, moving up four spots to secure the No. 10 position overall, tying with Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. Darden is now the No. 2 public school, following the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, which ranked No. 7 overall.

In addition to its business programs, UVA’s School of Nursing has received high marks for its specialty programs. The Master of Science in Nursing program is ranked No. 11 among public programs and No. 18 overall, while the Doctor of Nursing Practice program is the No. 22 public program. In a new subranking for “Best Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Programs,” the school is tied for No. 7 in the country.

Overall, UVA’s individual programs in the School of Education and Human Development have performed well in the rankings as well.
