The highly anticipated 2024 ICU World Cheerleading Championships will be held at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, with Team USA aiming to secure their seventh consecutive co-ed premier world title.
Team USA has dominated the competition in recent years, winning titles in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. However, they were unable to compete in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time they did not take home the gold was in 2015, when they finished with silver behind Chinese Taipei.
In the co-ed premier category, Chinese Taipei and Norway claimed silver and bronze medals respectively in the previous year’s competition. Meanwhile, in the All Girl Premier category, the U.S. team are the reigning champions and will be looking to defend their title.
