After declaring for the NBA draft and entering the transfer portal, Jeremy Roach has confirmed that he will be playing his final college season at Baylor. In a social media post on Sunday, Roach shared an altered photo of himself in a Baylor uniform alongside Bears coach Scott Drew.

During his time at Duke, Roach was a standout player, starting in 108 out of 130 games over four seasons and averaging 14.0 points and 3.3 assists in his final season. Despite their impressive performance, the Blue Devils lost to North Carolina State at the Dallas Mavericks’ home arena in their NCAA Elite Eight game last season. However, Roach still has one year of eligibility remaining, which was granted by the NCAA due to the pandemic-impacted season of 2020-21. He began his career at Duke as a freshman on a team that missed the NCAA Tournament but went on to become a three-year starter under coaches Mike Krzyzewski and Jon Scheyer.
