Despite this setback, the team managed to evacuate four patients, including a 9-year-old boy with a head tumor.
The WHO head emphasized the importance of access to healthcare and humanitarian aid for civilians in need. He also called for a cease-fire to ensure the safe delivery of aid. Israel has isolated northern Gaza since late October, leading to severe shortages of food and water for the remaining population despite the destruction of entire neighborhoods.
