The Cowboys have welcomed back wide receiver Tyron Billy-Johnson, who spent the previous season on their practice squad. On Monday, he visited with the team and his return to the roster was announced on Tuesday.

Billy-Johnson’s most recent regular season action was during the 2022 season, where he made one catch for eight yards in two appearances for the Texans and played in two games for the Raiders. In addition to his work as a receiver, he has also spent time as a returner while moving between different teams in the league.

In 2020, while playing with the Chargers, Billy-Johnson had 20 catches for 398 yards and three touchdowns. He has also made regular season appearances with the Jaguars and Chargers in the past. With his experience and skills, Billy-Johnson is expected to make a valuable contribution to the Cowboys’ offense.
