The upcoming Core Hydration Classic will feature three current and past Olympic all-around gold medalists – Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and Gabby Douglas. This is the first time all three gymnasts have competed in the same event leading up to the Olympic Gymnastics Trials. The event will be held in Hartford, Connecticut, on May 18 from 7-9 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CNBC and Peacock. Viewers can also stream the event on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app for CNBC subscribers.

The roster for the Classic includes other notable gymnasts such as Tokyo Olympic floor exercise gold medalist Jade Carey, Olympic team silver medalist Jordan Chiles, and two-time world all-around medalist Shilese Jones. Following the Core Hydration Classic, the gymnasts will compete at the Xfinity U.S. Championships from May 30 to June 2 in Fort Worth, Texas, before moving on to the Olympic Trials from June 27-30 in Minneapolis. The winner of the Olympic Trials all-around earns a spot on the five-woman Olympic team for Paris Games.

Biles is making her competition debut at this year’s Classic after winning last year’s all-around title at the event. Despite facing challenges due to being diagnosed with kidney diseases in early 2023, Suni Lee has already competed in two events in 2024 so far.

Gabby Douglas returned to competition at April’s American Classic following her hiatus since winning gold at the Rio Games in 2016.

Biles, Lee and Douglas aim to showcase their skills once again and secure spots on France’s Olympic team.

This meet promises to be an exciting one with such an impressive roster of talented athletes competing against each other for a place on one of history’s most prestigious sports teams – Team USA’s gymnastics squad heading to Paris for next year’s Olympics Games!
